Bob Smartie & the Failures are a six piece reggae band based in the south east. in the ten years since the boys started the band, they have gigged throughout eleven countries in europe and around the UK countless times. The individual members are all session players in their own right, and between them have done live and recorded sessions for artists such as Dido, Faithless and Bad Manners, as well as both pre-recorded and live TV Appearances (MTV/Granada/Channel 4). All styles of reggae are covered including Roots / Steppers / Dance Hall / Ska / Lovers Rock ……."Any pattern, any style". Their set of up to two hours includes some original material and many classic covers of tracks by Third World, Aswad, The Beatles, Steel Pulse, The Skatelites, and of course, the one and only 'Bob Marley & The Wailers'.
